Nestled on Esk’s main street, Little Country Lane features a beautiful range of country and farm animal themed gifts, homewares and fashion – all the things we adore and that reflects our love for farm animals and country life.
Little Country Lane proudly showcases many unique local businesses from the Somerset Region alongside other family-owned brands from rural communities around Australia.
We are passionate about discovering these brands and working with likeminded businesses that have a story to tell and the same love for rural life as we do.

Lover of all things farm animal!
It’s the classic story: city girl meets a farmer and moves to the country.
After years working in marketing and media (with a stint living abroad), Sam found her farmer—complete with plenty of cows to cuddle—and swapped city life for the slower pace of the farm.
Her love for rural living and passion for supporting local makers is the heartbeat of Little Country Lane. From curating thoughtful gifts to creating new collaborations, Sam’s creativity and down-to-earth style shape everything we do—with a whole lot of country charm.

Mr Little Country Lane
A cattle farmer with the perfect line to win Sam over: “I’ve got cows” – and just like that, she was there! Chris is the man behind the scenes, packing and shipping orders and crafting a range of our products straight from the workshop.
PENELOPE
CHIEF GRAZING OFFICER
Penny, our Chief Grazing Officer at Little Country Lane, was born in 2023 as a twin and bottle-fed as a calf, with Minni by her side.
Now proudly identifying as a "grass puppy," Penny thrives in the paddock, spending her days munching on grass and snacking on her favourite fruits – strawberries, bananas, and mandarins!
MINNI
CHIEF EXECUTIVE HOUND
Although small in stature (Italian Greyhound), Minni is a true farm dog at heart!
She loves hanging out with the cows and chickens.
We’re stepping away from sales culture and not interested in competing with "Shei-mu" & "Te-in"
(and we’re not sheepish about it)...Mass production just isn’t our thing.
At Little Country Lane, we do things a little differently.
No Black Friday.
No Cyber Monday.
No frantic flash sales.
Why? Because we believe in valuing what’s made with care.
Our thoughtfully created pieces carry a story, made by people in their studio or a family business workshop, not industrial factories at scale.
